Favourite Directors
Like I said, I am a fan of certain types of movies. Some directors I find talented who worked on such types of genres are Tim Burton, who directed A Nightmare Before Christmas, Corpse Bride, and Coraline. Later are the directors of the Harry Potter movies, Chris Columbus, Alfonso Cuaron, Mike Newell, and David Yates. Then we have Guillermo del Toro, the director of Pacific Rim and The Russo Brothers who directed marvel movies such as Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Avengers: Endgame. The Russo Brothers and Chris Evans during the filming of Captain America: The Winter Soldier The reason why I like the Russo brothers' directing style is how they really did highlight the special friendship between Bucky and Steve, and how it was highlighted in the way Steve was so bent on the idea of protecting Bucky
Team Presentation: Gender
A few days ago, a group in our class was assigned the task of talking about the representation of gender. During this presentation, I was quite happy with their presentation and how it highlighted the problem of gender representation in media.
My Taste In Films
Introduction To My Taste Like many media students, I spent most of my time either watching movies or reviewing them on apps such as Letterboxd. Some of my favourite genres include Dystopian, Fantasy, Superheroes, Sci-fi, and somewhat gothic horror and dark fantasy. I even watch musicals, such as Hamilton I chose these genres because I strongly believe in the power of imagination and creativity. I admire the team of individuals who use their creativity to convey meaning through vibrant colors and advanced technology, like CGI.
